Quartz Refresh & Reseal
Battery renewal, gasket check, and water-resistance reseating for quartz watches, with a light external clean. The case is pressure-tested where possible and returned with a brief condition note.

Frequently Asked
How long does a typical service take?
A Quartz Refresh usually takes 3–5 working days. A Movement Service takes around 7–10 days depending on parts availability. A Full Heritage Overhaul is a patient process — allow 3 to 5 weeks so nothing is rushed.
Do I need to bring my watch in person?
We welcome walk-ins at 21 Beach Road during workshop hours. If you prefer to discuss the service first, call or email us — we are happy to advise before you make the trip.
Will you need to order parts for older watches?
For vintage and heritage pieces, some parts may need sourcing. We will let you know during assessment and only proceed once you have agreed to any additional timeline or cost involved.
What if my watch turns out to need more work than expected?
We always check in with you before doing anything beyond the agreed scope. Nothing extra is added to the bill without your knowledge and consent first.
Is water-resistance testing included in every service?
Water-resistance pressure testing is included when the watch case design allows it, which covers most standard watches with screw-down or gasket-sealed cases. We note the result in the condition document returned with your watch.
What does a condition note include?
The condition note covers the state of the watch on arrival, what work was carried out, any wear or issues observed, and — for mechanical services — the timing readings before and after adjustment. It is a plain-language record you can keep with your watch.
Do you service all watch brands?
We work on a wide range of mechanical and quartz movements across many brands. For very specialist movements or those requiring brand-authorised parts, we will advise you honestly if another route would serve your watch better.
